CJ Affiliate Setup
Overview
CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction) is one of the world's largest affiliate networks with 3,000+ premium advertisers including Nike, Samsung, Office Depot, and Priceline.
Step 1: Create a CJ Account
Sign up as a publisher at cj.com. It's free to join. You'll need:
- A live website URL
- Description of your coupon site
- Traffic information
Step 2: Get Your API Key
Once approved:
1. Log in to your CJ account
2. Go to Account -> API Keys
3. Generate a new REST API key
4. Copy the key
Step 3: Configure in CreateCouponWebsite
Navigate to Admin -> Settings -> Affiliate Networks -> CJ Affiliate:
CJ_API_KEY=your-api-key-here
CJ_WEBSITE_ID=your-website-id
CJ_PUBLISHER_ID=your-publisher-id
Step 4: Apply to Advertisers
In your CJ dashboard, browse advertisers and apply to join their programs. Once approved, their coupons will be available for import.
Auto-Import
Enable CJ auto-import in Admin -> Automation -> CJ Affiliate. The system will:
- Fetch new coupons daily from your approved advertisers
- Create store pages for new merchants
- Generate your unique affiliate tracking links
- Remove expired coupons automatically
Apply to advertisers in your niche first — approval rates are higher when your site content matches the merchant's products.
