License Agreement

1. License Grant

DealEngine grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software subject to the terms below. This license is personal to you (or your organization) and may not be shared, sold, or distributed to third parties.

2. Permitted Use

You may:

• Install and run DealEngine on domains permitted by your license tier
• Modify the source code for your own use (customization, theming, plugin development)
• Use the software for personal, client, or commercial coupon and deals websites
• Create derivative works for your own use, provided they are not distributed as competing products

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the software or source code to any third party
• Include DealEngine (or any portion of it) within another product for sale or distribution
• Share your download link, license key, or account credentials with others
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices, branding, or proprietary labels
• Use the software to build a product that competes with DealEngine
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the licensing or activation mechanisms

4. Domain Registration

Each license tier permits installation on a specific number of domains:

Domains must be registered through your account dashboard. localhost and staging/development environments do not count toward your domain limit.

5. Updates & Support

Your license includes access to software updates and customer support for the duration specified by your plan:

• Starter: 6 months of updates + community support
• Pro: 12 months of updates + priority email support
• Business: Lifetime updates + priority support with installation assistance

After your update period expires, you retain the right to use the last downloaded version indefinitely. Renewal options are available to extend update access.

6. Ownership

DealEngine and all associated intellectual property (code, design, documentation, trademarks) remain the exclusive property of DealEngine. This license does not transfer ownership — it grants limited usage rights as described herein.

7. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It may be terminated:

• By you: At any time, by ceasing all use and destroying all copies of the software
• By us: If you violate any term of this agreement. Upon termination, you must immediately remove all copies from your servers

Upon termination, you lose all rights granted under this license, including access to updates and support.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. DealEngine disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the software will meet your specific requirements, operate without interruption, or be free of defects.
